The “Fondazione Alfredo Catarsini 1899” was founded on 29 June 2020 on the personal initiative of the painter’s granddaughter, Elena Anna Rita Martinelli, and her husband Gianvittorio Serralunga, in memory of her mother Mity Catarsini.
The Foundation is entered in the Register of Legal Persons held by the Prefecture of Lucca, no. 456
